That is something that your ISP assigns to you. Most won't
tell you
unless you ask as when you PAP dial with windoze the DNS is
given to
via the dialup server. Now if I remember right when you dial
with Kppp
using PAP then the DNS is written to /etc/resolv.conf. Do
you have a Kppp entry in /etc/resolv.conf? Can you contact
your ISP to get your
primary and secondary DNS IP addresses? If you have a
windoze box laying around a quick way to find the DNS is to
dial the ISP using PAP
and hit Start---then run--- and type in winipcfg and your
primary DNS will be displayed after you select more info. Or
if all else fails email the name of the ISP and I can lookup
their DNS IP's from here or if I don't catch your e-mail
someone else will on this list.
