In the process of trying to get 2.2.17 running correctly (which I cannot get
to correctly build), my cdrom drive now keeps it's tray open. It was working
fine this morning until I hit the eject button and now it just stays out there.
If I put a disk in (data or music) and push the eject button, it will close,
flash the light a bit and then push the tray out again.
Now, this wouldn't be so odd, but yesterday my floppy drive was being
difficult... today it seems okay (after rebooting back to 2.2.16). I'm
running on fairly recent hardware with a SOYO mb that I've never had any
trouble with, so I'm quite surprised I'm getting all these strange
situations...
If anyone has experience with either of these problems, please help me out
here...
