FWIW, I compiled the 2.4.1 kernel on my RH7 box with no problems...had
problems with the 2.4.0 kernel, but not with the 2.4.1.

I'm about to download 2.4.2, but since there was already a patch put out
for it, I'm holding out for a little bit.
