Ok, then as long as the permissions for /var,/var/spool/,
/var/spool/lpd, and /var/spool/lpp/lp are correct, then make sure you
have smbprint:
[mikkel@master lp0]$ type smbprint
smbprint is /usr/bin/smbprint
drwxrwxr-x 7 root daemon 1024 Dec 24 14:49 lpd
drwxr-xr-x 2 root lp 1024 Nov 29 21:10 lp
