Linda,
The file in .fetchmailrc will start procmail. For your
inbox-path, you have a couple of options, but the default empty string
will work yust find when using procmail to deliver the mail. You could
also put in /var/spool/mail/linda. This has the advantage of working
correctly when you use "su linda" to change user name. ("su - linda"
doesn't require this.)
Now, if you were reading your mail from a different machine then
fetchmail is delivering it to, the a path name of "{<mail server>}inbox"
works well. To read mail from a machine called mail.localnet.pri, you
would use "{mail.localnet.pri}inbox".
