well i'm lost as to know what the heck is up with my situation.
i've had no trouble printing before using stc800 driver for my esc860 but now
nadda..i get those funny characters or nothing prints
the printer was detected fine via printtool but it refuses to print
.......heck gimp won't even print ( esc860 driver is setup correctly through
gimp )now and in past it always did..
printer works in windows so its not hardware related :)
are there any issues with the 2.2.16-22 kernel i'd forgotten about?
