Well, unless someone with experence with the epson stylus color 860
jumps in, there are a couple of things you can try. The first thig I
would try is to try printing directly to the printer. (I hope it
understands ASCII.) Try "cat /etc/lilo.conf > /dev/lp0". If the
printer is on the first printer port, and all modules are installed, you
should get some outout on the printer. If things are not right, you
should get some helpfull error messages. You will probably have to be
root to run the command. Let me know what happens, and we can go from
there.
