They come/go in spurts. What makes them increase in numbers is when people
jump out and answer anything that comes their way for which they know the
answer.
Then the other extreme is too many RTFM replies that usually relate to very
hard to locate (for newer users) information. That usually becomes the
result of too much traffic answering extremely simple questions followed by
endless whining from people receiving more email than they like to get due
to paying for time online, no time to read it all, or whatever.

I wouldn't think it to be a Redhat problem. The problem is not enough
integration (gnome has its own help system, kde has its help, individual
progframs have some, etc). Not that I think Linux should follow the 'Doze
method (everything is M$ or it has to at least "conform" to get it to work)
because I personally like that Linux has options that are left wanting in
the wannabe-OS.
Maybe someone (preferably someone that knows what they're doing [not me, in
other words])could create such a help system out of the howtos, with a
means that others could integrate their help into it. Not _everything_
would have to conform, just the help information.
