If rp3/wvdial combination isn't working, then both my systems are
fooling me pretty convincingly. Zero problems. Primary system is an
ASUS CUBX based one with an external Sportster 56Kb modem, secondary is
a ProStar/Kapok 2100P laptop with a PCMCIA 56kb modem card. Both
connect to my personal ISP service over dialup lines with, again, no
issues.
