On the 4th cron ceased to send email notification that it's completed cron jobs on one
of our servers. We know that cron is still actually functioning because it does do
cron the scripts (we can physically see the effects of that sort of thing) and also
it's still putting entries into /var/log/cron. We can find it with ps -ef |grep cron
and it stops and starts just fine with /etc/rc.d/init.d/crond {stop|start|restart}

I compared the permissions on /bin/mail and /usr/bin/sendmail on out working system
and the one that's not working, and they match.

Also please note that it stopped for all users. some of the user have
[EMAIL PROTECTED] but it doesn't matter, it's not working for
anyone.

Any ideas what could cause this? I'm fairly sure that it must have been something we
did, since it's only broken on one of our two matching servers.

TIA
