        I entered it and got as result:

xfs 692  0.2  5.9  4952  3768  ?   S  22:32   0:01  xfs  -droppriv  -daemon

        which somehow doesn't tell me anything, but I typed in anyways:

        /etc/rc.d/init.d/xfs start

        X Font server starts up fine (no err msg), but after typing startx I get
the same result as before. So if your dunce cap (whatever that is) will fix
this I will be very happy if I can borrow it. Just tell me what to do with
it and I promise it wil be a boomerang. ;)
