Hello to everybody, whilst fine tuning my RH 7.0 for a better performance hdparm is kind of resistant to this....:-(( Every time I am trying to enable the the dma access I got the same annoying error message. It turns to be out that this isn't possible, at least for the moment ! (see attachment for more details). Unfortunately I haven't compiled my kernel till now ( that means I don't know if the option " use DMA if existing". Do you thinks that this is nescessary to do so at first, I am not quite sure about that...! Thanks Thomas
