Believe me, I can think of endless problems with this thing, without
even starting to think about security, for example. But I've been
clearly told that mine is not to reason why.
We've set up the everybuddy package, and so far it seems to be working
out well. Satisfies the need for AOL Instant Whatsis and all those
other goony one-off real-time chat programs, but it's also an IRC
program, so at least it's not a complete loss on the standard
communications front.
I would like to take this opportunity to address this august forum with
the statement that I dispise AOL and all they stand for.
