Hi Michele,

Here you must give the complete name without the *.
rpm -e XFree86-xfs        When I did that, I got a message saying:

removing these packages would break dependencies:
XFree86-xfs is needed by chkfontpath-1.4.1-1
XFree86-xfs is needed by XFree86-3.3.3.1-49
XFree86-xfs is needed by Xconfigurator-4.2.3.1

Then it just kicked me back to the command prompt.  At least it's trying to 
do it.
