I'm not sure what you mean by HA. Assuming you're asking about the hardware,
the SCSI controller is an Adaptec 2940.

I believe so. The switch reports 100/FD and the driver has been forced to
FD with the /etc/conf.modules of
alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx
alias eth0 3c90x
options 3c90x full_duplex=1

One test has the machines connected by cross-over cable. The other test
has them as the only machines plugged into the switch.

You're getting transfer rates of greater than 40Mbps? Cool! =) What's the
rest of the hardware configuration (nic, hard drive, etc.)?
