I use it regularly to connect to my Cisco router via serial cable. Works
fine. Just give it the correct settings, and off you go. Start up minicom
as root and enter the configuration screen. Just select which port the
cable is connected to, and set the parameters for the link. When you start
minicom again, it should simply connect. Check man minicom for the details.
