I am having problems downloading MS Word/Excel attachments. According to
the fetchmail FAQ, this could be a modem issue as there may be an escape
character in the file which causes the hang up. I tried my other modem in
the box ( an old 14.4) and it works so the modem may be this issue. Is
there any way to get around this so my mail downloads do not hang if
someone sends an attachment.
Ideas?
