I have the procmail v3 as mail processing program. I trying to change maildir of the standard '/var/spool/mail/$USER' to '$HOME/.mail', I would like to make this without having that to create one '.procmailrc' for each user, however I did not get success. I have the procmail.src.rpm, I tried make the changes that seemed to be necessary but I do not obtain to reconstruct the package, because I do not have know on programming and packages rpm. Already I looked the reply in descriptions of stacks and I always find the same reply "is necessary to modify the code source and recompile". I would like to know if somebody already obtained these changes and as, and still what I make to limit the size of the mailbox and to alert the user when the quota will be exceeded.
