I am running kernel 2.2.16 and the samba from Redhat6.2 can't remember the
version.
when I map a shared linux directory on a Windoze box, say the share folder
on the linux box (which is public),
it says the mapped drive is 50MB ... how do I increase the size of this ??
or are shared directory fixed to
Maximum of 50MB ??

Me neither. The size of the samba share is usually limited by the size of
the directory/filesystem you are sharing out along with any permissions you
have assigned to that directory in samba/unix. what type of setup do you
have?
