MAX version has a faster RAMDAC, 360 Mhz vs. 300.

The kernel shipped with Red Hat 7.0 includes both backported AGP support
and backported DRM support for 3D/DRI. I've used it. It works :)

It should only show one. Differentiate the two heads on the card using
the "screen" option in the config file. A working config file is
attached, you can use it as an example, or drop it into place. Update it
with your own mode lines if you do the latter.

Trick number two: The driver shipped with Red Hat doesn't support both
heads. I don't know if you have the beta driver from Red Hat's site, but
you'll need it. I had bad problems with it on my SMP machine. When I
used XMMS, the kernel would complain about data not on an MTRR boundary,
and lock up in not more than two minutes. I don't know if it's related to
SMP or specific to the first beta driver (there have been a couple more
releases), but I'd be interested in hearing your experiences.

DRI only works in 16bit color last time I checked, which is a limitation
in the driver, not the hardware. Where did you get info on the max
resolution? Is that a software limitation? I'm mostly certain that the
hardware is capable of better, but the driver isn't quite done yet.
