Yep.  I use it in a number of ways - simple shell scripts run via cron to 
synchronize CD-ROM databases, samba logon scripts, the passwd & group 
files...you name it.  Some jobs connect to the rsync daemon and others are 
over ssh.  I also use rsync to keep a "cold" copy of one of my server's 
boot disks up to date.  I've found rsync (and ssh for that matter) to be 
quite handy.

Yell if you have questions - although I probably won't answer my mail until 
Sunday or Monday.
