for the syntax, here's mine:
search highertech.net higherbandwidth.net chatt.net
nameserver 207.12.88.58
nameserver 209.54.120.2
nameserver 209.42.128.1
nameserver 130.207.3.207
nameserver 199.191.145.136
nameserver 209.54.120.3
The syntax is:
search <domains>
nameserver <ip address>
nameserver <ip address>
Theoretically, the IP addresses for the name servers should
be your ISP's. However, because my isp was having some DNS
problems (gotta love those Script Kiddies who are using new
scripts on an ANCIENT version of Bind! Their scripts don't
work very well on the *ancient* version of bind! <G>)
