It would be better to install SSH (or openssh if you
prefer) and ssh into your box and then kill the pid of X.
Or, try "killall -9 netscape-navigator" or "killall -9
netscape-communicator." That should free up the system. If
it doesn't, you'll have to kill the x-server and start x
back up from the local console.
