Try the RPM-HOWTO at http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/. Not really
that updated (Nov. 1999) but should also help you get started.
Also, I'd suggest getting your feet wet by downloading existing
RedHat SRPMS, study the spec file, and try building the packages
yourself.
