no sound!!!

Hi everyone,

I've read the FAQ followed the instructions (those I could understand) to no avail. So help!

Of all the suggestions in the FAQ the most promising was the one that said:

"You can also change your boot method to use Loadlin.exe from Windows (as windows would then have set up the plug and play hardware). "

How do we do that?

I had previously downloaded the linux driver from "linux.aureal.com" but even with all your help I get and error.

HELP!
