Hi all,
I am still working on getting linux onto a machine
with only 4MB of ram. The old 3.3 slackware
has low memmory install insructions. I scavanged
an extra 3 1/2 in floppy drive so I can mount
a uncompressed root floppy in one drive and
load from the other floppy drive. It says to
use loadlin to start. However I want to know
can I then use fdisk and format the hard drive
for linux this is where the loadlin is? I really want
the whole drive for linux not a dual partition. However
I suppose I could repartiton it for dos and free and
than turn the dos partition into a second linux
partition after it works.
Thanks
Linda
