either way

What type of sparc? thats like saying a 50mhz intel. You have to specify
the actual processor name. I had a SS20 with dual 50mhz processors and it
was dog slow compared to even a PII 233.

sometimes a tarball is designed for multiple architectures. Sometimes it
doesn't have to be, if it uses only basic functions (no hardware).......it
just depends.

Intel, sparc and alpha are all full fledged Redhat distributions. They
all have powertools cd's that go with them.

eeprom. You should search for some sun faqs. www.sunhelp.org

you have to make sure the display is compatable. Some suns have RGB
coax outputs some have a 13w3 connector.
