Hi,
Question about the configuratin file used by make when re-compiling a
kernel. Using xconfig there is the option of saving your configuratin
file by any name that you wish. If I do this and do not use the
"config" file name the file name I save used for the make process or is
the standard "config" filename used. If the latter is the case how do I
direct "make" to use the correct configuration file?

This question arose after reading about kernel recompile where it was
stated that the 'config" file is used. So with a little extra reading I
have been able to extract confusion from where there was none.

TIA
