FWIW, we are using a Belkin Omniview box and when I try to run x through it
our Linux box can't find the mouse. If I take that same mouse and connect
it directly to the Linux box then there's no problem so it has something to
do with the Omniview. *Your* results may be different, but that's been my
experience with it.
