It was this same point that I reached three months ago with my attempts to
install/configure Mailman (problems, headaches, errors) at which point I
installed SmartList. I had difficulties with that the first time, too, but
there were some really kind people on the SmartList/procmail mailing lists
that helped me through it and convinced me of the usefulness of tarball
installs (instead of requiring RPMs always).
