I consider RedHat to be the most flexible and easy to use and update of the
Linux distributions I have tried.

What I agree is about the poor support service. I really think it is not up
to the quality of the software RedHat offers. And, as 800 numbers are only
available from within the US (not sure about Canada), when I have required
technical support, I either have to wait a couple of days for e-mail answers
or pay an international toll (and you are lucky if you don't get an
answering machine that keeps you waiting for 20 minutes...).

Another example of poor customer support is that I bought my 6.2 Deluxe
directly from RedHat (I made the online order before the product was
released), and my installation CD came damaged. I have been asking for a
replacement for weeks, but I am still waiting...

In summary, at least from my own experience, RedHat offers a prime quality
product with a second class customer support.

-Manuel.
