I actually I think I like Gordon's. I haven't looked at it in a while,
but was quite impressed with what all it did, and the way it was done.
But the bottom line (for either) that it does what it needs to do.

I certainly hope that anyone using the one I posted (based originally
on a nerdherd script), would take the time to make sure that whatever
services are running are in the desired state, ie visible or not. This
was posted as much as an example and starting point as anything.
