John,
First where is modules.conf? I looked for it in /etc, and it was not in that dir.
The card is not really
a card, it is a onboard card from Intel. It is a intel dual server MB, with 4 PII's
on it.
ifconfig returns a lot of info, what specificly do you need? What is kudzu? Is it
part of netgear?
This is a server, when I started the install I did it as a server. It is suppose to
be a web,dns, Ecomm server.
The web, dns are more important then anything else. Well being able to see the
machine from my win machine
is also important. The win box is a pii 400 with Win 2K on it. It is pointing to the
net via a DSL line. I have a
3com hub in the middle of it.

I have been off work for about 6 months, so I have not had much money to spend. If I
get back to
work this week, I want to get a router or switch.
