If physical sceurity of the machine cannot be expected, like locked doors,
then the portion of this thread regarding lilo passwords, bios boot order
and bios passwords will do a pretty good job it looks like to me.  Give
someone enough time with a box and he will get into it.  This is one of the
reasons I suppose that most server rooms have card access or at least locks
on the door.
