Time to ask ..
Here the problem. I can not get any RPM version
of mod_perl to work.
What I have is RedHat 6.2, Apache from 6.2,
Perl 5.6.0 from Rawhide.
The mod_perl from 6.2 needs perl 5.003 to install
The mod_perl from rawhide seg faults (11)
Next I modified the SPEC file to use 5.6, and
mod_perl 1.24 but doing a rpm -b I get ..

Your Perl is uselargefiles enabled, but Apache is not, suggestions:
*) Rebuild Apache with
CFLAGS="-D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64"
*) Rebuild Perl with Configure -Uuselargefiles
*) Let mod_perl build Apache (USE_DSO=1 instead of USE_APXS=1)
and then .. no rpm file is created :(
can anyone help ?
RedHat if your listening, is there any way one can get a
a Perl 5.6 and mod_perl 1.24 for the 6.2 distribution ?
