OK, I can understand that. But it says something like "GUi install failed"
or something equally "helpful". It'd be nice to be told what aspect of the
GUI install setup failed, as it took me some hacking around to notice that
it works on a MS mouse. I mean, if we knew why it failed, and if we cared,
we could perhaps do something about it.

Further, having set the rodent into MS-compatibility mode, when running
the installer it asks what kindof mouse I have. If I tell it Mouse Systems,
the mouse then quits working for the duration of the instal. Only a
minor glitch, to be sure, but not user-friendly.
