The error definitely is in the tar ball in /ssh-vpn/server/vpn-start. I had
copied it to /etc/ppp and made the modifiations per the INSTALL doc.
When I ran this from the command line trying tofigure out what the deal was I got
a bash syntax error on line 26, unexpected eof.
Hope this helps
I also noticed while looking throut the init.firewall script that the error
message when forwarding is not on suggests to the user that he do the old echo
"1" > ....../ip_forward deal. As this is deprecated in the RedHat 6.2 verison of
the kernel a blurb about sysctl might be in order. I have not gotten all the way
through it yet but that it what I have seen so far. I am not familier with the
action statement. It is used extensively in the init.firewall script. I can
tell what it does and looks pretty cool but can find no doumentation on it.
Where does it come from?
