The easiest way to do this is to simply not allocate all available space
on the drive.  If you wanted them to be, for example, 2Gb each, leave 
the
4 Gb unallocated during installation.  You'll have to use fdisk, I 
believe
rather than Xconfigurator - which I prefer, anyhow.

After the installation, go back, run fdisk, create the two partition.
