??? Really? I am using ipchains with no problems at all, and can't
find iptables anywhere. Isn't this 2.3.x?

ipchains-1.3.9-5

[hal@feenix hal]$ grep ipchains /var/log/upgrade.log (saved log)
Upgrading ipchains.

[hal@feenix hal]$ ll /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPMS/ipchains-1.3.9-5.i386.rpm
-rw-rw-r--  7 root   root  178987 Mar  8 15:41       ipchains-1.3.9-5.i386.rpm

No iptables on my CD.
