One way to test is to install the LM Sensors package and run the
sensors-detect program. It will tell you what you do have. If your BIOS
setup screens don't have a section that will display CPU temperature,
voltages, etc, chances are you don't have the hardware support for them.
But you may have other sensors that the package can talk to.
I think you can get addon cards that will tell you some of this as
well. Things like the voltage levels on the ISA or PCI buss, inside case
temperature, etc. But I don't know off hand where you would buy them, or
how much they cost. (I have just started playing with the LM sensor
package - no CPU temp on my K7, but I can get info from my video board...)
