Side vote for BEST Power Products, they at least publish the interface for
their UPSs (complete with source) and their units work very well.

As an aside, I'd dump BEST's software or Powerchute in favor of the
Network UPS Tools suite (http://www.exploits.org/nut/).

Why? More functionality, web page status, ability to notify machines
powered by the UPS but not connected to the UPS to shutdown. And it
supports a variety of UPSes with the list growing all the time.
