Yeah I had this problem before. Not being able to Delete Linux partitions with
fdisk. Here is how I reinstalled NT WK 4.0 over Linux :-
Fdisk will not delete your Linux partition (they still haven't bothered fixing
it yet)
You need to use NT installation partition utility to delete Linux partitions
You place the NT Boottable CD in your CDROM then run the NT WK installation
utitlty this should prompt you for hd then it should prompt you for NTFS
partioning . At this stage you should be able to delete all your partitions
created in LInux that Fdisk cannot delete
Then you must run Fdisk again and restore your "Master Boot Recrod" otherwise
known as your MBR. Type in the following command in dos prompt "fdisk /mbr" now
you can install Windows NT WK 4.0 or Windows 95.
