Windoze ftp:
# ftp proxy
# username: proxyusername
# password: proxypw
# user [EMAIL PROTECTED]
# password youremail
You will normally, but not necessary, have a username and password to go
through your proxy server. This will normally be the same username/pw
you use to surf the web (if any).
When the proxy server accepts your login, you just change user
definition to where you want to go. There are several protocols for
this. I only now the type I showed you. You might also try:
# site ftp.server.domain
# proxy ftp.server.domain
but I'm not sure which (if any) might work.
BTW, the right click in NetScape is a binary transfer. I do that all the
time. Beware though, that the FTP protocol is preferable for large
transfers. It's more reliable.
Also beware, that even with ftp, you may loose the transfer after 640MB.
:-( If your ftp client doesn't handle re-get (std windoze ftp doesn't)
you'll have to start all over. If you're forced to use Windoze (doing
this at work? :) at least get a descent ftp client.
I have tried WS-FTP PRO with good results. (It's commercial, but there
is a thirty days free trial. Should be enough to get the .iso. :-)

Gustav
