I had a SiS530 related problem and tried all the fixes out there that I
could get my hands on. No joy. Paid $25 for an S3 Virge 4M card. Problem
solved. Runs like a champ on that card. I have another K6-II RH box and
when I feel I need to run X on it, I'll snag another S3 card and be done
with it. I use the boxes as servers, not game machines, etc. so I don't need
to latest greatest video card from hell. Most of the time I'm at a command
line anyway.
