That is true, but after a hack job you REBUILD your system.

What manual? All I have is a disk. That is still no excuse. Full installs
might be a result of a hard disk failure, a hack, whatever. No need to
blindly destroy everything in its path.

Not that I saw. It went to that Disk Druid screen. But, by then it was
too late anyway.

It did. But there were still some hack residue, so full install it was.
It was supposed to be full search and destroy.
