I use an HP 612c and it works perfectly with the DeskJet 550 driver in
300x300 color mode. I found out about it on the web site of the
Linux-Printer HOWTO <http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/pht/>. The site
includes a database of printers, their degree of Linux compatibility, and
user-reported notes and setup instructions.
