I've got a LJ 2100 here, and it's an excellent printer. Fast, quiet and with
crisp printouts and reasonable running costs (still on my first toner/drum
after six months' of use).
However, it's not fully supported under Linux, AFAICT. The LJ2100 uses PCL
6, but the Ghostscript driver only does PCL 4 for LJ 4 emulation. It works,
but you only get 600x600dpi, not 1200x1200dpi and miss out on some other
features too.
