Is anyone here versed in StarOffice?

I have been fighting with it all day now and ready to pull
my hair out.

I opened up a spreadsheet and entered experimental data
in the cells. I can select a set of cells just fine and
insert a chart. What I want to do is move the chart to
a document for printing. I do NOT want to print out
the spreadsheet. I have a series of datasets that I want
to create charts for and place ALL of them on one sheet
and print that out. I have tried copying and pasting my
charts to a starwriter document - doesn't work (it leads
to the production of a blank "object" in the document).

I have tried inserting a chart in a document but it appears
to be redundant and doesn't talk to starcalc. A chart is
created which holds generic nonsense data. If I want to
change the data to the actual experimental data, I cannot
without having to manually re-enter everything I entered
in starcalc. What the hell kind of app is this? This
certainly doesn't appear to be integrated at all.

I cannot cut and paste starcalc data into the new document's
spreadsheet table for the chart - this leads to the pasting
of the spreadsheet data text into the chart image, producing
garbage. The help agent suggests that it is possible to
transport my charts into a new document but I have tried
just about everything to no avail.

Please...someone...I spent a lot of time entering the data
into a spreadsheet and creating histograms. I need to print
the histograms out on a single sheet. HOW DO I DO THIS?

I am terribly disappointed in the Gnumeric, which I have
also tried...it totally lacks the ability to create charts
or graphs based on the data you enter. I haven't found
anything else that can do this so it looks like I am STUCK
with staroffice. Any aid would be greatly appreciated.
