No they're not. The Linux boxes are receiving the connections and the NT
boxes are doing the authentication's.

I really don't want to delve into MS-CHAP unless it is really necessary. In
other words, if others have found it a SUCCESSFUL benefit to go that route
and it is a process readily or commonly used, then maybe it would be worth my
time.
