Do a search on "JCam".  This is a Java based camera tool that
works with most serial enabled cameras.  You'll need to install
the Blackdown JDK 1.1.x to use with it.  It's not totally freeware.
You can download a free demo version from the site, but it has
a tickler in it.  If it works, give them your credit card and
for $30 you can get the regular version.

I use this with my EPSON PhotoPC 500.  Works great.
